New Calibres Increase Interest In the Watch Making Art

If ETA ceased providing their replica watches movements to small watch manufacturers without other movement suppliers in the market, this would threaten the survival of the small watch manufacturers. So it was agreed that ETA would continue supplying their movement blanks at the same volume until the end of last year and then at reduced volumes up until the end of 2010.

Audemars Piguet has given us a preview of their in-house expertise in cutting edge case manufacture by creating the limited edition Millenary Carbon One Tourbillon Chronograph. This luxury watch will be shown officially at the 2010 Salon International Haute de la Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva, Switzerland and has a very limited run of only 120 pieces.
